Congregational Vote to Approve Expansion Fundraising

On July 13, we held an informational meeting for our church members and school families to share
details about the school expansion plan and provide time for questions and answers. We were encouraged by the strong turnout. Many attendees learned about the plan and asked thoughtful questions about how the project might move forward.
A key component of the project is fundraising. At the meeting, we introduced our giving campaign
called “Million by May”—our goal is to raise $1 million by next May to help cover a portion of the
expansion cost.
To officially begin collecting donations, we plan to present a motion at the congregational meeting
on July 27. The purpose of the July 13 gathering was to provide background information ahead of
time, so that the July 27 meeting can focus on voting. The voting will only determine if fundraising
can begin. The vote to approve the design will take place later when we have the village approval.
Attached is the presentation shared at the July 13 meeting. Please note that the Q&A portion during
the July 27 congregational meeting will be limited, as much of the information has already been
presented.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Pastor Ernest, Congregation President Brian Felsing,
or Principal Chiseon Kim.
