Elementary
Jerusalem Lutheran School has the goal of nurturing young students based on the Word of God. Our Lord has commanded us to bring little children to come to Jesus and hear the Word of God -- Matthew 19:14
God has given parents the primary responsibility for nurturing their children. However, the school exists to assist the parents as they carry out this important responsibility in the knowledge and instruction of the Savior. The complete cooperation between the home and the school is necessary for the welfare of the children.

Elementary School Program (Grades K-4)
At Jerusalem Lutheran School, our Kindergarten through 4th Grade classrooms are built to support both strong academics and meaningful spiritual growth. We use teaching practices that research from schools across the U.S. and Canada has shown to be especially effective in helping students thrive.
Our curriculum is aligned with state learning standards, providing a solid foundation in core subjects like Bible History, Math, and English Language Arts. Students also learn and grow through additional subjects such as spelling, art, music, and physical education. Each area is taught with care and intention, helping children build knowledge, creativity, and a love for learning, all through the lens of faith.
By combining proven teaching methods with clear academic goals and Christ-centered instruction, we aim to help every child grow with confidence in heart, mind, and spirit.
