Middle School
Highschool Prep
Jerusalem Lutheran School has the goal of nurturing young students based on the Word of God. Our Lord has commanded us to bring little children to come to Jesus and hear the Word of God -- Matthew 19:14
God has given parents the primary responsibility for nurturing their children. However, the school exists to assist the parents as they carry out this important responsibility in the knowledge and instruction of the Savior. The complete cooperation between the home and the school is necessary for the welfare of the children.

Middle School Program (Grades 5-8)
At Jerusalem Lutheran School, our Grade 5 through 8 classrooms are shaped by both the truth of God’s Word and the most effective practices in education today. We use teaching strategies that educational research from across the U.S. and Canada has shown to significantly support student achievement and long-term growth.
Our curriculum is aligned with state learning standards and designed to maximize student learning outcomes across all subject areas. Through intentional planning and evidence-based instruction, we challenge students to think critically, engage deeply, and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways.
From Bible History and Math to Science, English Language Arts, and the fine arts, each subject is taught with care, purpose, and a Christ-centered perspective. Students continue to grow in their academic skills while developing their identity in Christ, preparing them for success in high school and beyond.
By combining proven teaching methods with clear academic goals and faith-based instruction, we strive to prepare students for high school—ready to excel academically and grounded in their faith. Our goal is to help them grow in Christ by becoming responsible citizens of both this world and God’s kingdom.
